Barcelona has become the leading cruise port on the Mediterranean and this has led to the construction of a new mooring centre, the World Trade Center, located at the end of Barcelona Wharf. At the beginning of the wharf is the cable-car station that links the port and Barceloneta with the hill of Montjuïc.
