El Poble Espanyol, designed for the 1929 Universal Exhibition, is an open-air museum showing the popular architecture of Spain through 117 buildings: 40 craft workshops, 22 shops, 12 restaurants, 1 Flamenco show and more than 300 works of contemporary art in a permanent collection. Inside, we find architectural reproductions representing the different regions of Spain.
