Privacy Policy

1. Barcelona City Tour has designed a privacy policy and established the necessary means and procedures to carry it out.
In accordance with the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LO 15 of 13 December 1999), personal data are understood to be “any information concerning identified or identifiable physical persons”.

The only personal data to which Barcelona City Tour shall have access shall be those voluntarily provided by the user. It is therefore necessary for users to be aware that they will be asked for personal data in order to register for certain products and/or services offered through the website. In the cases and with respect to the data expressly indicated herein, users/clients may not access or use the services and content mentioned if they do not provide said data. For example, users may be asked to provide identification details and, where required by the nature of the operation, and any other data, depending on the case, that may be legally required to provide the requested information or to provide a service. These voluntary data are collected by Barcelona City Tour for the purpose indicated in the Data Protection Clause below.

In compliance with the legislation in force, Barcelona City Tour has adopted the technical and organizational means necessary to maintain the required level of security in handling the personal data in question. It furthermore avails of the necessary mechanisms to prevent, insofar as possible, unauthorized access, theft and illicit modifications and loss of data.

In light of the above, you are advised to exercise maximum diligence in this matter and to use all the security tools available to you; Barcelona City Tours shall not be made liable for theft, modification or loss of illicit data.

The law recognizes users’ rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, as applicable, with regard to their personal data and may exercise these rights by writing to the address indicated in the Data Protection Clause below. Similarly, users may, at any time, revoke the authorization granted for the use or transfer of their data without prejudice to the right of Barcelona City Tour to terminate the contract or operation in question in the event that these data are necessary for carrying out said contract or operation. Users may also modify the data provided via the websites to Barcelona City Tour, in the manner indicated therein.

2. Data Protection Clause
A.- 1. Where users are physical persons, they shall be informed that their personal data to which Barcelona City Tour has access as a result of queries, transactions, operations, contract applications, products and services contracts carried out via any medium, or computer processes regarding data already recorded, shall be entered in the corresponding Barcelona City Tour file and Barcelona City Tour shall be authorized to handle any data necessary for use in relation to the execution of the operation or service agreed, for which these data shall be obligatory.

2. Furthermore, users expressly authorize Barcelona City Tour to use their data in offering and contracting products and services and for carrying out general commercial actions or commercial actions adapted to their personal characteristics. These commercial actions may be carried out via e-mail or other equivalent electronic-communication medium.

3. Users also authorize the communication or transfer of the aforementioned data to companies belonging to Barcelona City Tour with the same object indicated in the above paragraphs and shall extend to these companies the express authorization for the use of e-mail or equivalent medium.

Users are notified of their rights of opposition, access, rectification and cancellation with regard to their personal data in the terms provided for by law, and may exercise these rights in writing by means of a letter accompanied by a copy of their identity document, addressed to Customer Service, Barcelona City Tour, the entity responsible for the file being Barcelona City Tour, with address at Carretera del Mig, 180, Hospitalet de Llobregat, to these effects.

B.-In compliance with the provisions of the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection, the following is the list of Barcelona City Tour companies to which personal data may be transferred:
UTE-Julia Travel, S.A. Marfina Bus, S.L. Trap, S.A. with address at Carrer Santa Eulàlia, 240, 4ª pl., 08902, Hospitalet de Llobregat.

C. Users may revoke any authorization they have granted for the use or transfer of their personal data, with the exception provided for in Section A.1 of this clause, which is obligatory, in the same manner as that described in Section A.4 above.
